EKAJAALAKAM 

                                                                     All India Radio, Thrissur is starting  an interactive  programme  “EKA JAALAKAM”  with effect from 6th November, 2013 to air  genuine grievances of  the public in order to elicit  a solution  for the same from concerned authorities.

                                                                    We  select complaints for “Eka Jaalakam” based on the social significance of the issue and the intensity of  the violation of rights of an individual or a community. These complaints are sent to the respective department/ office heads for a response. The reply can be through E-Mail or post or phone. We will record the reply and broadcast the  same  if the concerned authority  opts  for a telephonic reply.

                                                                  If the authority concerned does not respond or reply within the specified time, the complaint will be forwarded to the concerned Ministry of the State/ Central Governments. All the selected complaints and their replies will be broadcast in “EKA JAALAKAM” at 7.35 pm on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. This

 programme will be repeated at 3 pm on succeeding Sundays. The complaints and the replies will also be published in Thrissur AIR’s  blog –jaagrata.blogspot.com for public display.

                                                                   Thrissur All India Radio is trying to lend a helping hand to  the common man in redressing their grievances through the broadcast of this programme. It is hence requested  to extend  the whole hearted co-operation of  you all in this endeavour for a public cause.
